In September 2018, the Trump administration received detailed plans for a new machine designed to churn out millions of protective respirator masks at high speed during a pandemic.
The plans, submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) by the medical manufacturer O&M Halyard, were the culmination of a venture unveiled almost three years earlier by the Obama administration.
But HHS did not proceed with making the machine.
The mass incompetence, the complete disregard for the lives of Americans, the worry about money when this administration is profiting on an unbelievable level. Honest to god, I don’t want to say I can’t get more outraged, but I fear I’ll be proven wrong.
Their incompetence and dishonesty in trying to rig the Covid-19 response to help some states and hurt others will ultimately HURT the states they are trying to help.

Every epidemiologist and public health expert in academia knew this risk was real. Every epidemiologist and public health expert that the “fucking moron” (h/t to Rex Tillerson) fired from the NSC, DHS and HHS knew there was a very serious potential for a horrible pandemic. They begged Orange Anus not to dismantle the off-shore public-health first responders, but Covidiot-45 gutted our first line of defense anyway. The people shit-for-brains fired crushed Ebola, but BLOTUS IMPOTUS was more interested in removing the functionality that President Obama installed than he was about protecting the country. When the jackass learned in early January about the threat of this virus from our intelligence community, he ignored it and returned to golf while always downplaying the seriousness of the situation FOR MONTHS. He did NOTHING FOR MONTHS. There was no mobilization for the increased production of N95 masks, ventilators, sterile gloves, protective gowns and intubation kits FOR MONTHS.
The incompetent POS has tried to blame this pandemic on the distraction caused by his impeachment. (1) His impeachment was well deserved because he obviously committed impeachable offenses. (2) The Executive branch is supposed to be capable of doing more than one thing at a time, except that this maladministration can’t do a damn thing beyond sadistic cruelty towards defenseless migrants and serial bungling. The only thing this administration is competent at is doing the worst thing all of the time.
Mango Mussolini is responsible for all of these deaths. At a minimum, this is manslaughter or negligent homicide with depraved indifference on a massive scale.
