Perhaps she should direct her remarks to the Senate?

It takes 20 pages to say “not my job”?

How does one make any action on this matter “Supreme Court Proof”?

We gotta fix this. If we don’t, we got nothing. Voting rights NOW!

It’s too late for much of redistricting the maps will be drawn by the time the Senate does anything. Only the courts are left for that in many states.

I’m sure she is doing that too…the problem is the wall of Republicans who will refuse to shore up our democracy as they now depend on breaking it to stay in power.

This is what should be receiving around the clock coverage, not the Taliban.

It’s the GOP that is trying to restrict voting rights. The GOP wants one-party rule & white supremacy rule.

Our country needs federal voting rights legislation or we will suffer under GOP reign.

To hell with the Taliban…it’s my voting rights that are being attacked by GOP.

Why can’t we secretly fold H.R. 1 & 4 into the batter of Reconciliation, and when the Parliamentarian objects to the cake, fire the Parliamentarian?

Point taken. :upside_down_face:

I meant in terms of elected state officials. It’s like having a gaggle of Gym Jordans.

They are also limiting what you can use for voter id. Eliminating everything but driver’s license and state id and passport. So that sucks for students and people that don’t drive. Wonder who they vote for.

I know the feeling living in red AZ. But as a kid in my teens I witnessed the KKK members in my tiny tiny village (pop 450). It’s hard not to know each other in a place like that. I was tolerated as “the Hippy” because my family had farmed there for more than 100 years.

I have A Modest Proposal:

Mandatory voter ID, but the only acceptable form is a state-issued COVID vaccine passport.
