Immigration agents made a record number of arrests during a series of raids on Wednesday, the same day President Donald Trump visited El Paso, Texas in response to a deadly shooting in the city over the weekend.
You mother f-er’s. It is not unclear to white supremacist criminals at all. This is a message directly from their leader: we will get rid of these brown people one way or the other.
Any other admin would have informally called off any planned raids until after the last funeral.
Acting ICE director Matthew Albence told the AP that the raids were part of a “long-term operation that’s been going on.”
“Our enforcement operations are being done on a racially neutral basis,” Albence said. “Investigations are based on evidence.”

This used to happen in Iowa all the time when we lived there. and after we moved, we’d hear about raids.
The meat-packing plants were soon stocked with new or former workers bused back in. And on it on it goes. These plants need live bodies to do the work. Why Trumpers think this is some great thing is beyond me.
