Chicago is still paying victims of of Jon Burge’s reign of error. 118 people sent to the klink because it was easier to just frame someone than find out who did it.

Burge died in 2018, some of his frames had been in prison for decades.

Oh, no Kushner is making money himself. Now if Trump loses in November, he better come up with ideas of generating profit or he will be chopped up.

You know… if Prosecutors and Judges were not immune from punishment for malfeasence, this really wouldn’t be much of an issue. I mean it’s obvious, now, that the entire original criminal proceeding was, itself, a crime. If we could prosecute those motherfsckers, that’d have a chilling effect on future crimes of that sort.

(I guess the six Supremes who let this happen were just going with the Founders’ intent: Those slave-owning folks didn’t care about black people, either.)

Schmarlottestown, Schmarlottesville. That’s nothing compared to the people he’s got running his inept and bonkers ad campaign.

His campaign doesn’t seem to know the difference between the State of Georgia, USA and the mostly S. Caucasus country of Georgia.

The people running his campaign must be saving their intellectual chops for something big, somewhere, at some special moment in time, but I have yet to figure out what that could possibly be. All I’ve seen is one huge grifting operation tRump has going for him.

Radley Balko’s book about the coroner and the forensic dentist is great, if horrifying, reading. He goes into great detail about the absurd limitations convicts face in appealing their cases, even when new evidence turns up.

Here’s some basic math for Bernie: Ohio passed an abortion rights measure with 57% of the vote. That means men voted for it. Women over 50 voted for it.

I really can’t handle the stupid.

Nothing on MM about the excellent final speech from Biden to the UN yesterday?

It’s a shame this wasn’t muck-raking enough for TPM. They’re doing no better than the MSM for ignoring Joe.
