There is no man so blind as he who will not see.

How can they profess to being shocked? Maybe it’s because their heads have been buried so far up trump’s backside, they’re incapable of ever seeing reality.

And now, they’re just mad the cheetoh emperor didn’t let them in on all aspects of the scam.

The shock isn’t that he has relevant and damning evidence. They’re merely shocked that they’re not getting away with what they planned and totally expected to get away with.

You think Bin Laden was “shocked” when Seal Team 6 showed up in his living room? You bet your balls he was.

Reported separately on the TMP LiveBlog:

“Like war, impeachment is hell. Or at least presidential impeachment is hell,” Starr said. “Those of us who lived through the Clinton impeachment, including members of this body, full well understand that a presidential impeachment is tantamount to domestic war.”

It would seem that Ken Starr needs to be reminded that the method of impeachment is contained in the U.S. Constitution.

There’s a long line of craps throwing money at him right now. Anything he wants.

All a play for the rubes. And anyway, God will forgive them for trying to take over a country and bring about the end of the world.

Says it right there on the money - God is a white man.

Interesting that the Oval Trailer had the Bolton draft on December 30th, and here we are a month later with “blindsided” Senators whining like whipped puppies…

When ya lay down with rats, you get Boltoned…

What I hate most about their investigation is that they got a woman to make friends with Monica, and draw her into their orbit enough to trust them. They will have sent women to everyone that might have even possibly had anything to say about Bill.

I can imagine her face, going back to Starr - I’ve got it! The dummy even kept the dress!

Grrr.

Acting surprised by their behavior is just as disingenuous. What were they going to say, “We know all this, that’s why we were hoping he’d keep his mouth shut until we had wrapped up this ‘trial’”?

Or those whose eyes were stabbed out by Nancy’s treasonous impeachment pens…

There’s an explanation for that: they are lazy and stupid.

How long long will it take for the GOP to realize the cost of the FACT that the average Democrat is 30 points higher in IQ than the average Republican, AND much more likely to answer St. Peter’s questions satisfactorily upon reaching the Pearly Gates ??

Bolton’s knowledge of Trump’s traitorous acts should not have been a surprise, (as well as the fact that Trump is a thug), but the depth of the kool-aid induced stupor they have been walking around in since they nominated this asshole as their POTUS in 2016 is still astounding. They should all be made to wear a Scarlet “C” on their lapels for the rest of time, (as in “Complicit”).

Fox Propaganda bubble?

That too, but you have to be lazy and stupid to stay in that bubble. Especially if you are in Congress, for all love.

Or it’s that MoscowMitch assured everyone that everything would be kept under wraps and as long as they stayed in lockstep, there would be no damaging reveals until the trial concluded.

GOP senators sought to stem fallout from Bolton bombshell

In the hours after the New York Times broke the John Bolton story, Republican senators began reaching out to the White House to control the damage.

Both Sens. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina and ally of Trump’s, as well as Majority Leader Mitch McConnell were in communication and there was an expressed view that the GOP Senate should have been kept in the loop.

One message conveyed to the White House, according to a GOP senator with knowledge of the conversations, was that Republicans were on the front lines of the trial and for them to be left without all available information was “malpractice.”

If not for the complete ridiculousness of that actual witch hunt, I’d still be calling for Clinton’s head. In a perfect world, he should have resigned. But in the face of the bullshit he was up against, he had to stay just to make the point that you don’t get to crawl up someone’s ass for 8 years like that, break every rule imaginable in the course of the investigation and then after all that get to impeach a president off of something so trivial.

If any R Senator was “blindsided” it’s because they believed McConnell’s assurances that any witness, including Bolton, could be blocked. Every one of them in that chamber knows exactly what happened in the WH, and they thought it could be kept under wraps.

I still don’t trust Bolton though. He’s not going to get completely off the right wing gravy train. If he testifies, I think he’ll be very selective in what he decides to answer, depending on which enemies he’s trying to shaft.
