Will the Republican’s rush toward idiocracy tank the United States or merely their own prospects in the next election? Enquiring minds want to know.

While the Trumpiest Christian Nationalist Doug Mastriano will probably win tomorrow’s Republican primary…come November, Josh Shapiro will be elected our next governor.

Only the voters in PA can stop this. The other 49 States can only stand back and watch.

The answer will be at the ballot box - not tomorrow, but in November.

Fetterman just had a stroke.

And, by all reports, is going to be fine.

If Doug Mastriano prevails tomorrow, we are going to need to look at that vote in great detail. It can tell us a great deal, not only about his strength and weaknesses but about the overall religious vote, the Christian Nationalist clout in PA.

The GOP Senate primary will likewise give us a snapshot of the Christian Nationalist choice there that together with the Mastriano vote should tell us a lot.

Forewarned is forearmed. I hope the analysts have their pencils sharpened.

Fetterman is running for senator, not for governor. PA’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro will beat Doug Mastriano come November.

Also, I wouldn’t count out Fetterman.

The Big Lie is going to have some problems in a few weeks.

I expect the minions to continue to discredit any charges coming from J6 committee.

I expect the minions to double-down on the Big Lie.

Honestly, if they don’t, on what do they have left to ground their continued outrage?

…we are going to have an interesting election come November.

Christian Nationalist Doug Mastriano -vs- Conservative Jew Josh Shapiro

This article like the rest of the “mainstream media” keeps giving Donald Trump way to much credit for “creating” this movement. Rather, this movement created Donald Trump.

Since Ronald Reagan who tied Republican economic policy exclusively to the top 1% of Americans, there have been 8 planks to get White voter support.

1 Race baiting first and foremost
2 Bible thumping as a diversion from race baiting
3 Flag waiving to demonize their opponents as being anti-America
4 Immigrant scapegoating
5 Gay bashing which has now morphed to some extent into transgender bashing
6 Misogyny
7 fear mongering
8 shouting at their opponents “He/She is a socialist”.

But the real goal of all of this is to weaponize White resentment so as to gain power and then use that power to redistribute wealth to the top 1/10 of 1%.

Right now I think Shapiro will beat Mastriano quite handily. But the crazy is strong and getting stronger in the PA GOP. So I would not take anything for granted. (And if one more important Dem has a stroke, I’ll have a stroke!)

Just sittin’ here waiting for Dear Leader Trump to “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s”.

Correct. I expect nothing from the minions.

I have high expectations from everyone else, and, quite frankly, if we cannot step forward (with the Nation on the line), we will have failed our children and grandchildren.

By all accounts, the R’s will use this to insinuate that he isn’t physically fit for office.

Hopefully they are cruel and despicable about it, so he actually gains points.

This is why I use a variety of “holy” books as additions to my fire pit. They’re a bit too rough for toilet paper and just not absorbent enough.

You for to add to #8 Communist and Marxist. Apparently we’re all the ‘ists’.

Yes, but the most important one we should be slinging about with reckless abandon:

The opposition GQP are FASCISTS!!! And if we fail at making that stick, we deserve to lose.
