Watching men dressed as women isn’t grooming: it’s western culture, from the Greek Theater to RuPaul.
As I’ve come to prefer dudes, I find most drag excessively unsexy.
Grooming is when you try to get kids to have sex with you: and I don’t think seeing, say, pantomime dames, or Priscilla Queen or the Desert is going to facilitate that, unlike abusing your position as a minister or priest (guys in dresses?) …What the hell of it to you if I take my kids to a R rated performance?
Watching an old Top Gear, Ron Wood was the famous person in a moderately priced car: the BF said “he looks like someone’s lesbian auntie.”
I hope Gym Jordan and Kevin McCarthy do a full investigation of Elaine Chao’s activities. Skanky, Wanky, and the Organization have extensive access to sensitive classified information and it is possible that they have information on crimes and illegal activity by the former Secretary that requires a full investigation and prosecution. No one should be above the law and Congressional investigation.
“Noah Bookbinder, president of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, presents two possibilities: either the IRS wanted to avoid controversy or Trump “used the levers of government to shield himself from scrutiny” by installing loyalists in the agency.”
First one doesn’t fly since they are supposed to do it to ALL presidents. That leaves only the second “explanation.”
I’d be willing to bet it was claimed as a business expense. I think (not certain) that only a portion of entertainment expenses can be claimed.
Skanky was claiming the $750K he was paying Wanky for the many “business” services she was providing to him behind closed doors. Wanky and Stormy had similar expertise and were involved in similar activities.
Mr. Kovensky should not bring up any mea culpas. The Democrats, including Mr. Neal, were collectively and severally wussy in bringing their authority to bear, presumably because of Trump’s perceived power and their fear of reaction from voters. As we have seen, delaying to lower the boom and do the right thing have not worked well for Democrats or for the country.
When ICE under Trump was ripping infants from their mothers’ arms at the border, jailing them in dog cages, and permanently separating them from their parents by “losing” the records critical to ever reunite families, cable news repeatedly aired testimonies of how unfair it was for Libruls! to attack “the thousands of hard-working agents who show up every day, decent people with kids of their own, just doing their jobs and trying to earn a living.”
In other words, exactly what Hannah Arendt meant by “The Banality of Evil” and all the Little Eichmanns who enabled genocidal gears of mass-murder to grind millions to death in Nazi Germany.
It takes “ordinary people” to commit atrocities (sometimes even without conscious awareness, in the grip of cognitive dissonance) “just trying to earn a paycheck like everyone else”. Without them and their many hands doing the necessary, bloody, everyday work – as they sleepwalk through horrific barbarity – fascism cannot exist.
It’s ironic that the same undocumented immigrants that Trump would rail against pay a far higher percentage in taxes than him. It’s actually a few billion paid into social security plus state and local sales and property taxes.
who are his enablers? these discussions remind me of his greeting Trump at the airport after winning the governorship. He had been endorsed, he thanked Trump in a stooped, groveling position… and let Trump play the roll of a strong politician… his presentation was as a wimp, not a victor
I am so sorry for your terrible loss. I hope in 2023 the darkness will begin to lift and you can experience some of the joy your beloved would want you to know.
