I read the first couple pages listing those on the Intelligence Committee and others involved in producing the report. It’s a damned shame Republicans were denied any opportunity to participate in these hearings.

Gag!

WaPo:

"In its highly anticipated report, the House Intelligence Committee laid out evidence of Trump abusing his office with regard to his conduct in Ukraine.

“To compel the Ukrainian President to do his political bidding, President Trump conditioned two official acts on the public announcement of the investigations: a coveted White House visit and critical U.S. military assistance Ukraine needed to fight its Russian adversary,” the report said in its findings.

The report also said that “President Trump engaged in an unprecedented campaign of obstruction of this impeachment inquiry.” "

How the hell was Trump’s campaign of obstruction unprecedented? He just finished a similar campaign of obstruction during the Mueller investigation, mere months earlier.

Welp, I have my evening reading…
And the short version as well

Here’s the “executive summary” (so calming to be thought if as the executive I never was…I was just a prof in a medical school)…

https://intelligence.house.gov/report/#executivesummary

This does make for interesting reading all by itself.

Bet ya trump won’t even be able to digest the summary… no real pictures or one page bullet notes.

I think that is important. I am glad the committee wrote it that way.

This paragraph on page 9 paints a clear and devastating picture of how wide Trump’s circle of corrupt influence was functioning.

Our investigation determined that this telephone call [July 25] was neither the start nor the end of President Trump’s efforts to bend U.S. foreign policy for his personal gain. Rather, it was dramatic crescendo within a months-long campaign driven by President Trump in which senior U.S. officials, including the Vice President, the Secretary of State, the Acting Chief of Staff, the Secretary of Energy, and others were either knowledgeable of or active participants in an effort to extract from a foreign nation the personal political benefits sought by the President.

His cabinet is rotten to the core. (And this list doesn’t even mention AG Barr, to boot.)

I’m sure Atty Gen Barr will just simply disagree with the Report’s assertions, which means of course due to the media’s obsession with the Law of Both-Siderism, the findings are thus invalid.

We need an investigation into the investigation of the investigation. Probably.

Why do you ignore the four words following ‘obstruction’?

To repeat, “unprecedented campaign of obstruction of this impeachment inquiry”.

If I were to be critical, I’d say that this phrase is a truism, where an obstruction of one inquiry cannot be unprecedented since it is a singular event.
