House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) is demanding sworn testimony from the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg amid reports of a possible upcoming indictment of former President Donald Trump.
Right after Jordan talks under oath about locker rooms.
“In light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision,” Jordan wrote in a letter
Bragg: Uh, gymmy, you’re supposed to do this after I indict. Couldn’t you hold your wee for another day or two?

Jim Jordan is like the new puppy that repetitively jumps up on you and then pees on your leg. As far as I am concerned, Jordan can demand with one hand and do with the other what he wishes. He doesn’t even know the charges yet.
A totally legitimate issue for Congressional oversight - compared to, for instance, a sitting President’s tax returns and looking into foreign entanglements and conflicts of interest, and the efficacy of required IRS audits that sometimes didn’t take place, as well as a myriad of other things.
With all due respect, Congressman Jordan, and since you’re not due any respect at all…go fuck yourself.

To me this shows how broken is the Republican Party.
I mean one moment they are trying to find away to dump Trump and the next, after without any evidence to support him, Trump claims he is about to be indicted and the entire Party has to jump to his defense and accuse Biden of using his office, like what Trump tried to do to Biden, to go after their nominee in the next election.
Or to put another way, really what all this says is that Trump owns (in current tense) the Republican Party more securely than he owns anything with his name on it.
