In the wake of multiple shooting massacres in recent weeks, lots of Republican members of Congress have been asked whether they believe white nationalism has anything to do with the violence.
Gaslighting and agitprop is all the GOP have but, as long was the they can get away with it – corporate media I’m looking at you now – it’s clearly a strategy that remains effective.
Unfortunately, the GOP has absorbed the Trump ultimate strategy, blame everything that they are responsible for on the Dems. Its called group projection.
“Rep. Gus Bilirakis’s remarks do not represent the views of the national Republican Party, since he omitted the Gay Agenda, feminazis, fluoridation, chem trails, murdering and raping Mexicans, Hillary’s email server and Comet Ping Pong Pizza, Benghazi, tax cuts, and the Socialist Kenyan Muslim Usurper’s tan suit”, responded Rep. Liz Cheney, as she chewed on the left arm of a barbecued immigrant child.
I’m not so sure about the mainstream media. Most Republicans, sure. CNN, ABC, CBS, WaPo, etc., have been regularly calling these lies for what they are: Lies. Not everything, of course (there’s so much every single day!), but they’ve been getting their licks in. Even The NYT. That said, I do wish they’d cancel their contracts with half their idiot “conservative” opinion writers. Hugh Hewitt, WaPo, comes to mind, and a few others.
However, I’ll give credit where it’s due. On this, we’ll see. I hope you’re not correct here.
If the Left actually started arming themselves with AR-15s and open-carried them on a regular basis, Republicans would be calling for removal of the second amendment.
