Someone bring me my winnings, as I’m shocked, shocked that Republicans refused to release the Gaetz ethics report. Maybe MTG scared them by threatening to release all the secrets if they let the Gaetz report out, or maybe they are just that afraid of Trump and will roll over and do whatever he says.
I would bet on a leak of the report at some point, it’s just too much in demand to remain secret. We already know a lot of information from it, but having the whole report really is necessary…especially since it will show that Republicans were willing to keep Gaetz around despite odious behavior.
The confirmation hearings are going to be awesome…Gaetz will use the Kavanaugh method to attack every single person that asks him a hard question, and Republicans will mostly play nice despite how completely unqualified he is. They probably fear having the DoJ aimed at them, they know that true believers take out their sometimes allies before going after the opposition.
