The Narcissist in Chief is too stupid to realize that by not having an impeachment war room with a coordinated message, heâll get far less support from allies. Because they donât know what the frigginâ message is!!
All they can do is be reactive, following his every Tweet for guidance. Which is how Trump always thought things should work, but itâs going to take him down even faster now because there is no consistent message to shift public opinion. Speaker Pelosiâs quote that Trump would self-impeach has never been more appropriate.

Yeah, I quit when I realized I was never going to be able to carry that thing down onto the beach and the guy with the guitar was always going to be the cool guy. given that theyâve allowed Esper and Pompeo to completely ignore subpoenas so far, i wouldnât hold my breath waiting for the House to act to compel compliance.

Because it involves document production, it could be a fairly straight forward case â simply apply the Watergate tapes precedent â ask the judge to compel production contingent on a review by the judge for executive privilege concerns.
Or at least it would be fairly straight forward if this was an impeachment case. But without a vote by the whole House pursuant to an impeachment inquiry, the whole thing gets much murkier, because the applicability of the Watergate Tapes precedent would become a much more significant issue. (notwithstanding Res 430)
Which might explain why Schiff has doesnât seem to be in any hurry to get the crucial documentary⌠or maybe its something else.
