I think of Roy as a foot soldier, not a leader. So what surprised me was that he voted for this, and not follow the Republican line and vote against it.
As for Danforth I think he’s been out of politics long enough to realize that most sane people don’t care about either of these two issues.

Yeah, it’s a fine distinction, but the tweet from Ryan Brune (quoted in your original post) calling him an idiot and a liar is wrong on the second point, at least with regard to this issue. Nonetheless, and I think we agree on this, the first point appears to be quite true. 
And UFOs have never been shot down in Germany???
Me, too! The last several years would have been GOLDEN commentary from him. I’m glad the site is still up, at least as an archive.
