Besides, Ravnsborg complained, hasn’t he been through enough already?

Oh, did you also get hit by a guy reading his phone while he was driving and were struck so hard that your glasses ended up inside the homicidal driver’s car? You haven’t suffered nearly enough, criminal

That wasn’t the only apparent error in the letter; as the Sioux Falls Argus Leader notes, Ravnsborg also wrote the wrong date for the accident, which happened on Sept. 12, 2020.

Who amongst us hasn’t mistaken the date upon which one fatally struck a pedestrian during a hit-and-run accident while driving under the influence and which one then lied about and tried to cover up?

Dems in disarray alright! Damn.

There was a thread in the Hive shortly after the accident happened. Lots of details about the night of the accident, pictures of the road (straight, flat, no trees), the path the car traveled, the sheriff’s investigation, no blood work done until the afternoon of the next day, etc. Trying to place blame on the victim didn’t come until later and was rebutted by relatives who had more contact with the victim. The relative who spoke of suicidal ideations hadn’t had contact with him in years.

It never fails to surprise me when someone shows little or no remorse for killing someone. There are a thousand other things to be said about what a scumbag this guy is, and there are many people who can say it better than me. But the emptiness of the soul in this person gives me a chill.

As for Noem, apparently it suits her political survival to get rid of him. If he was somehow important to her success, I am sure she would be defending with just as much energy as she is using to go after him now.

Can he be charged with another crime, i.e., the crime of covering up the crime which he managed to lie his way out of?

Doesn’t speak well to the odds of removal. The GQP is incapable of holding anyone from their own party accountable for anything. And there is no limit to the amount of corruption or abuse that they will allow. Instead there seems to be a minimum level of corruption required to be successful.

C’mon! Who among us has not driven a few hundred yards down the highway with someone’s head stuck in our windshield? And, mommy told us the cop is our friend; so what is the big deal? I mean, we all carry windshield insurance, don’t we?/s

I didn’t do it
It was a deer
I wasn’t on my cellphone
Everyone uses their cellphone while driving
There is no evidence
Glasses often randomly fall into cars

Well now osprey, don’t get upset, the police agreed with him.

Look. That worked for you and @playitagainrowlf once. Now every mission brief I have to spend time explaining why that won’t work in Bulgaria.

What an abject piece of human shit.

Something is seriously evil about this not-close-to-human entity. Others here have railed far better than I am, but…but…but Hell (wherever that is), would reject this bas-turd as being too vile.

Credit where it is due, SD taking a vote to impeach (and then impeaching by a one vote margin) is more than TX has done. Though in SD there were convictions (plea to two misdemeanors), whereas Paxton has dodged conviction and/or needing to make a deal via serial court-hopping.
