And vileness aside he’s such a idiot moran! I mean I’m sure a lot of male politicians are assholes when the cameras are off, but he’s just such and complete and utter moran.

Edit: Yes a complete and utter moran!

Edit 2: and again

If Pence were to join TPM’s New York City-based staff and take on a similar commute to the one he faces in Ireland, he could find himself in Schenectady, New York.

Don’t even joke about this. I’d be forced to find bluer pastures.

Trump suggested Pence avoid the crowds and stay in a Trump property and went on to tell Pence that Ireland’s population is exploding and that’s why its capital is always Dublin.

He’d get laughed out of Seattle for sure.

Wait a minute now, what did Pendleton ever do to you? My daughter lives there and while the area is full of rednecks, that doesn’t mean you get to punish the few lefties that live there - they suffer that shit every day.

142 miles is a large fraction of the way across Ireland. You can’t get much farther from Dublin than that and still be in Ireland. Maybe an appropriate parallel would be cities that are three-quarters of the way across the US from each other.

And his extended family, too.

I love Dublin and yes it is. I walked all over Dublin and had the best time. I love the size of the city - everything is people sized. hahahaha I am not a skyscraper fan.

It would be like going to SXSW or ACL Fest but getting a hotel in Houston.

Which, come to think of it, actually makes sense if you go by my congressional district.

Hell, just export him to Canada.

Why would a corrupt despot even bother? I mean, it just seems like a few extra bucks in his pocket (relative to the overall con-game) for doing something blatantly gross. I realize he doesn’t care much about keeping up appearances, but there seems so little to gain for doing a super corrupt thing that is recognizable to just about everyone (probably even to some in the cult).

More evidence Trump Enterprises or whatever his crime syndicate is called is hard up for cash.

Two hours each way by Marine helicopters at $12,000 per hour per helicopter, plus cost of entourage. An OUTRAGE.

It would be nice if a reporter made a cost analysis of lodging and feeding the staff and security costs at a location in Dublin.

Most excellent, tree. Please point out the above to the mainstream media outlet of your choice.

What a silly and irrelevant article. What’s important is that Trump and Pence are trying to drive wedges in the European Union so they can split off countries such as the U.K. and Ireland and foist austerity and American corporate privatization on them.

Many times in the past, when a prez. or vice-prez. traveled to a foreign capital, they would stay at a US Embassy or Consulate. Secure, secure communications, and ample accommodations.
