Vice President Mike Pence will be staying at a Trump-owned property hundreds of miles away from meetings in Dublin during his official visit to Ireland this week. Many are wondering: why?

Well, good. Dense Pence can be a coindictee with Trump on public corruption charges in 2021. He must love trump an awful lot to expose himself to criminal charges like that.

Buttigieg is Mayor of South Bend (not Fort Wayne).

“Were he to start a new job in the neighboring city of Chicago, Pence could base himself in Pete Buttigieg’s stomping grounds of Fort Wayne —…”

Pete Buttigieg is the Mayor of South Bend, IN, but I suppose it’s possible he considers Ft. Wayne an old stomping ground.

So is he visiting his far-flung cousin’s pub in Doonbeg?

Personally I never tire of the tales about Jerry Brown and his glory days in Bangor, ME.

And eating and drinking there, along with his staff and security detail, all on the government’s dime?

How hard up must trump’s businesses be that this kind of two-day stay makes a difference to them?

To be fair, there are hardly any hotels in Dublin. It’s not like a tourist spot or anything, so the folks there never had a reason to build any places to stay…

If the relative distance, taking into account the sizes of Ireland and the US were used, would it not seem even more silly? 142 miles by car could be considered a daytrip in Texas, but in Ireland you could just about cross the whole isle.
Here is a link that shows Ireland is roughly the size of Indiana:

The last scenario of Seattle to Portland is ridiculous. We don’t want him in Portland. Let him go to Spokane instead.

I stumbled on that tacky Trump golf thing while enjoying the gorgeous island of Ireland. That thing is a LONG way from Dublin.

or how about a fishing boat, about 70 miles offshore…?

What did Spokane ever do to you? Let him go to Pendleton.

Here’s a fun story about Mike Pence.

Back on the night of the 2016 election, the networks finally called the race for Trump around 1:45 AM. Upon hearing the news, Pence went over to his wife to hug or kiss her, but she pushed him away, saying: “You got what you wanted. Don’t touch me. Now leave me alone.” (h/t @cletus for providing a source and the correct quote.)

I heard this on the Al Franken podcast, from a reporter who heard the story from someone who was in the room that night. I forget which episode and who the reporter was.

Apparently he will be, and he has visited Doonbeg in 2013, but there was no info about where he stayed then.

Too many sheep. It could be a cultural problem for him. Some of them might be gay.

Pence is simply doing his part as the federal government continues to pay tribute to the Trump Family Grifters.

Gotta keep communications secure – or US intel might listen in!
