Here’s What Pence’s Trump Ireland Stay Would Look Like In The US | Talking Points Memo

Wow, Bagdad brings back memories! I love the Mojave Desert, a beautiful but fragile habitat. Don’t even joke about locating anything Trump-related there.

It’s near the old docks, I believe, so if they’re using out-of-date maps, they might have thought that that’s still a crime-ridden stay-away zone.

There’s a beautiful Conrad Hilton right by St. Stephen’s Green which is also right by the government buildings.

I wonder why Short failed to mention that Doonberg has failed to net a single wee bawbee (or, if you prefer, a single pence*)?

*One pence (1£ Sterling) = $1.21USD.

Ahem. Pounds are used in Great Britain.

Ireland is on the Euro.

Between the Chinese spies and the recruiting of young women for sexual favors for rich friends I’d say staying at Mar-a-Lago involves proximity to a crime scene.

Proximity implies that there’s some level of distance greater than zero.

Vice President Lickspittle Pence somehow cannot muster up the courage to say “NO” to his master. That’s why he is named Lickspittle…

Are you sure about that?

What is the currency in Scotland 2019?

GBP Pound

The currency of Scotland is the GBP Pound (£). One pound is comprised of 100 pence and coins can be obtained in 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 denominations. Bank notes are commonly divided into £5, £10, £20 and £50 amounts.

I’m pretty provincial so I have to rely on the Wiki for most of my, um, “knowledge.”

"If you’re going to stay in the Doonbeg area with a footprint of our size,” the Trump golf resort is the one “facility that can accommodate that.”

In all fairness to Pence, he deserves those spacious accommodations after all his time in a closet.

yeah the logistics are complicated and difficult - but that is only part of it -
when he heard he would have to meet with a living breathing gay person -
he had his underwear sewn shut -
and then surgically affixed to his body -
not to be removed until he once again set foot on US soil…
but he asked that no one say the word “soil” as he is already pretty nervous about potential malfunctions of this plan …

Yes, only the UK uses it. Which northern Ireland is a part of, not the Republic of Ireland. Scotland, incidentally, uses their own pounds and they don’t like accepting British pounds.

Learned all that traveling there.

Well, at least using a 747 for a 147 mile trip makes sense.

Hey, it’s only going to cost an extra few hundred thousand to do two back-and-forths.
