Harris Pushes To Make Strong Closing Vibes A Reality In Last Day Of Campaign

So… it’s like this: many, many, of the competent GOP campaign professionals have either left the party, (see: Lincoln Project, et. al.), or been fired when Lara Trump was installed in the national committee. The GOP national coordination, ground game, all that … stuff that professional campaigns do, that’s all gone. The GOP is just a ping-pong ball in a dryer. Bounce, bounce, bounce, in a random walk that leads nowhere.

I’m sleeping well at night. Keep Kamala and carry on.

Good question.

Do you think some of those Republican women answered polls in a way that failed to reflect their actual election day intent because they felt pressured by their partner that could over hear or see their answers?

I’ve watched it now several times. I think it’s brilliant. the slow scanning over more and more empty sections while his voice is yammering on and on about his crowds. Could not have scripted it better if you tried. 10/10 for that cameraperson. It is just hilarious.

Trump: “At my last rally we had 50 million people. Nobody left. It went on for days. The toilets were overflowing there at the end, I’ll tell you. It was the most beautiful rally in human history. A real love fest.
And Kamala held a rally, and no one came. Not a single person. Completely empty little high school gym. And when she came out everybody booed and booed.”

Along with everything else, I hope Harris wins, the bigger the better, just so we can watch this son of a bitch come completely apart at the seams. Think of the stuff he’s said already, and then try to imagine what he’ll say when he loses. I can’t wait.

The last time T was in office I routinely woke up in the morning wondering if he’d found an excuse to launch those nuclear weapons he was so fond of and so itching to release. The man is a monster.

I did read that the so-called Proud Little Boyz are following him around and showing up at his rallies. And then there are those who are being paid to attend. I wonder if they get paid when they go in, so that they can leave when he gets weird.

The numbers need context, for example what was the early vote difference in 2016? Do men vote in greater numbers on Election Day for example?

I am using 2016 as the reference number since the 2020 election had a smaller Election Day turnout because of COVID.

Here are the approximate early vote numbers that I know, without gender breakdowns

2016: about 35%
2020: about 65%
2016: about 46%

I heard this weekend that an acquaintance miscarried. My second thought, after “oh no!”, was “thank God she doesn’t live in Texas”. These stories are so, so common. Still whispered about, so maybe some people don’t know that they know someone this happened to.

I don’t know. I hope but I worry.

Or maybe those Republican women are actually voting for the fi! Never underestimate the pull of religion and the men who run it.
