“I’m a liar and propagandist”, Hannity added with a sneer. “My viewers are elderly, dumb as posts, and gullible”, and I’m happy they are, Hannity said with a laugh.
We report. You decide. ™
His lookers don’t know the meaning of Vetting; they wouldn’t care even if they did:
What is stated- is believed.
But…I wanna know- why have all-of-them- including Trump leaped over 2016- as if it never happened? 2008 & 2012 is their obsession:
…the Fox News host insisted before claiming his show “got Obama right”
I don’t vet the information on this program that I give out
Including that statement?
They’ll be occupied full time inventing things about the Biden administration, and getting their viewers riled up about them.
Have I told you how she once nearly ran me over? (We were both on foot.)
What did they do during the Clinton and Obama presidencies?
And he misunderstood what it means. When he says that he doesn’t “vet” the information, he thinks that means that he doesn’t get it cleared by someone else, like network management. So he spoke the truth without meaning to - we all know that “vet” means to verify the information, checking the sourcing, etc.
Hannity throughout his broadcasting career has defended some of the worst malefactors in society from Ollie North to brutal police officers to Trump.
It’s an entertainment show, after all.
You know, entertainment – like for those who meet with their cronies to disparage the folks who aren’t there over beer or coffee.
Perhaps we need to write a “Trump Dictionary” modeled after Ambrose Bierce’ The Devil’s Dictionary.
Hannity, Trump’s most trusted advisor. Trump calls in and they mentally masturbate together. Obscene. (Forgive me the imagery!)
Alternate fact (hat tip to Kellyanne)
“Hannity: I don’t vet the information on this program that I give out because I am not a journalist”
… well among other things - watched their portfolio’s rise …
Hannity’s audience is now convinced that he has a veterinarian on staff writing and approving all of the animal stories.
Hannity vets his information by first running it through his confirmation bias filter. Then he checks it for hyperbolic discounting, compares it with his deep-set illusion of validity, engages in irrational escalation, and then gives it his final stamp of approval via Dunning-Kruger.
Newsflash: Hannity sucks. Moving on.
Sorry, it’s gonna take me a while to forgive you…
I was referring to TPM, not Faux, but you might still be right in your response.
