GOPer Thinks ‘Kangaroo Court’ Is From TV Show ‘Captain Kangaroo’

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), elected representative and lawyer, is apparently under the impression that the expression “kangaroo court” is named after the mustachioed eponymous character of a ’50s children’s TV show, “Captain Kangaroo.”

It’s even more amazing that Gaetz remembers to breathe on a daily basis.

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

“What we see in this impeachment is a kangaroo court and Chairman Schiff is acting like a malicious Captain Kangaroo,” Gaetz fumed.

Nobody ever said that Gaetz had a modicum of intellect. And this is just another bit of proof that it’s true.

Must of been after 9am so Gaetz was drunk. Either that or he meant Marsupial of the Court but couldn’t remember the word. Hell, probably both.

Malicious Captain Kangaroo now on CBS’s new mystery horror prime time.
Right after CSI Trump organization.
Gaetz must be looking for a new Daniel Schorr since he was the veteran CBS reporter who ended up on Nixon’s enemy list.

Gee, it’s hard to believe a member of The Stupid Party isn’t familiar with a fairly common expression.

“’50s children’s TV show”? It’a a little odd to characterize it that way since it ran from 1955 to 1984.

Another R with a sub-standard education. What is the opposite of “widely read”? Oh, yes,

We know that Gaetz is dumb as a box of rocks, but some Republican congressmen are actually well educated and pretty smart at grift. I guess if your Oligarch pays you enough you can pretend to be as dumb as Gaetz.

The DCCC needs to expand its range of targets.
