Trump and McConnell’s people are working the uncertain senate hard. Everything is in bounds for the effort. As we have seen before, such efforts work. The public show being plotted, scripted and eventually orchestrated is entirely meant to control public opinion.
Once the senate gets this, Moscow Mitch wants every member of the GOP orchestra on script and in tune like the robots they have been elected to be.

True. All that’s basically been depth charged by SCOTUS’ okay to unlimited dark money pouring into politics, making any set of idiots and monsters viable. Russians, Saudis, Chinese, Vietnamese, whoever has dirty cash to launder goes into the democracy death machine. And enough Americans are oblivious and vengeful and okay with it. They sure as hell don’t deserve democracy.
And the ‘OK Boomers’ crack does not apply millions of us have put ourselves on the line for clean energy, ridiculous false wars, librerty and justice for all, our whole lives. Thanks to Putin and corporate owned media, milquetoast America falls unless we step it up, again.

There’s a little bit of Russian in the GOP. No, I don’t mean in the obvious way.
I mean in the expression “Trading Space for Time”
The Russians in WWII used the vastness of their country to trade “space” (distance) for “time” (enough months to arm, prepare and train).
Here, the GOP is trading “space” (meaning court delays, obstruction, unified front against Dems, FOX, Roy Cohn Bluster) for “time” (the duration in time that all of this mischief achieves).
Hopefully, to his enablers, the fat dotard that is Trump will still be tottering around (still out of stir, thanks to the DOJ Memo), still mumbling to rallies and tweeting to followers after all that we have been able to throw at him.

Nobody much will pay attention to Trump after he’s out of office. The media will for a little while - less than a year. His twitter legions will also get tired of the same shit over and over when it’s coming from nobody but a loony old man and they will evaporate. I think the majority are Russian bots anyway. It’s going to be glorious to see him bowed down with being ignored. THAT will kill him.

Trump’s minions have always been here…and they are having a Ball like they have never had before because everyone is
- afraid of them
- listening to them
- talking about them
I am not a social worker, but if I were, I would work to deter this type of (Trump) thing to happen again. And it is possible.
