A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things.
A top administrator for the Carroll Independent School District in Southlake, Texas, actually told teachers to provide students with “other perspectives” in their reading material on the Holocaust last week.
Patel was scheduled to testify on Thursday. Meadows and Scavino were slated to appear in front of the panel today. The committee has decided to postpone the depositions with those three men.
WTF!
Explain the damn delays, you guys!
Doesn’t anybody on this J6C understand how impatient the public is for accountability from these people?

“The one scenario that really does appear to be coming into focus is the likelihood that within I’d say 2 to 3 years or so… one of us will probably be dead,” Skiba posted to Facebook to those getting vaccinated.
“Make sure that if you have a book on the Holocaust, that you have one that has an opposing, that has other perspectives,” Gina Peddy, the school district’s executive director of curriculum and instruction, told the teachers during a secretly recorded meeting on Friday.
Well, the Nazis are a vivid example of putting theories about race into practice. How’s that?
Now pardon me while I go look for my lower mandible, because it appears to have dropped below the table somewhere.
Elite Republican donors and lobbyists gathered for an exclusive retreat in Palm Beach on Thursday to work out how they’re going to fight back from last year’s humbling presidential election loss. For some reason, Donald Trump told them that he doesn’t like being peed on. According to The Washington Post , top GOP operatives and U.S. senators were in attendance for Trump’s speech at the National Republican Senatorial Committee where he lauded himself as the savior of the party. “It was a dying party, I’ll be honest. Now we have a very lively party,” he told them, before going on an inevitable rant about election conspiracy theories. However, in a bizarre and unprompted tangent, he addressed unsubstantiated claims about what he did with prostitutes in Moscow before his presidency. “I’m not into golden showers,” he reportedly told the crowd. “You know the great thing, our great first lady—‘That one,’ she said, ‘I don’t believe that one.’” Unfortunately, Trump did not expand on the implication that his wife does believe some of the other allegations against him.
Every person who ever asks how it all came to be in the 1930s and 1940s just needs to look around at America under FatAss and today. On so many levels it’s a replay of the same playbook. Every day we observe millions of our fellow Americans falling under the seduction of the Big Lie, and we see the concerted effort to install “true believers” in positions to assist with the next coup attempt, we can see how the Nazis brought their own buffoon to power.
It’s pretty scary, because we have seen this film before. And some days I feel completely powerless in the face of this reincarnation of evil.
I think they know how impatient Democrats are. Sometimes they’re bound by House procedures like quorums for in-person votes, conflicts with other hearings and so on.
I did a quick scan of the usual political sites and couldn’t find a reason for delaying the Meadows, Patel, and Scavino hearings yet, but it should appear at some point. It could be a normal bureaucracy-related reason, or maybe those three haven’t “engaged” with the committee to the point where the conditions for cooperation are agreed for both sides.
Sounds like Putin got a leg up on Trump. He got what he was aiming for. All Trump heard as he walked away was the tinkle of laughter. But we know that when Trump says someone else is lying, it’s just the potty calling the kettle black. Trump would never say something like that to Putin’s face, though … he’s got a yellow streak a mile wide.
