I don’t remember it taking that long to put Susan MacDougal in prison for contempt.
What do you say when you forget your wife’s name?
“Our great first lady”
I like how the sign about “Educated parents” has no apostrophe in “a School Boards worst nightmare.” It’s a possessive and there should be an apostrophe (Board’s).
And the sign on the ground refers to “Critical Rascist Theory.” For all you educated parents out there, it’s “Critical Race Theory.” But perhaps you were just self-reflecting.
ETA: And you can’t stop teaching kids something you never started teaching them in the first place.
But there is always the silver lining. Now we can see how both-siderism can generate incredibly false outputs; news reporter should take notes.
They won’t so Democrats should point out this out; like rub their noses in it.
“Won’t someone think of the childrens?”
I’m more impatient than most, but I’m fine with the Meadows, Patel, and Scavino delays. Scavino, in particular, only got served last Friday. And it takes a little while to respond to document requests. So long as they’re cooperating in good faith, it’s fine to delay the deposition. The moment they start to look like they’re slowballing, kick the bastards in the teeth.
To be expected. However, dollars to donuts that old bag doesn’t have any children in attendance at that school system.
Just another Koched up, astro-turf, Tea Party ruse.
When I listened to the audio, it seemed as if the administrator was searching for an example, and the Holocaust was the thing that came to mind first. It was poor planning on her part, although I can’t think of a topic that is likely to be challenged that has quality books as counterpoint. I guess we’ll have to wait for GQP members of Congress to write faux-children’s books to provide the opposing viewpoint.
BTW–Due to lack of support, teachers often purchase the books in their own classrooms that are meant for pleasure reading. The idea that they would have to provide balance in these collections means that classrooms will be systematically stripped of all books that children might pick up and enjoy. I, and most of my colleagues, would refuse to provide this “balance” purchased with our personal funds, even if there were books available.
As the grandson of survivors of the Armenian Genocide, I’m more than happy to show my displeasure in-person to anyone who needs balance about it or the Holocaust. My displeasure manifested with them being manipulated across the room and back again.
Well, if it had been John Boehner, it would have been the first openly Cabernet member. Although he actually seems more like a Merlot guy.
Missouri did that on purpose. They’re feeding private Iinfo about teachers to their mob to help ramp up the thteats.
This is spot on. The relentless, intentional erosion of the commons (common sense, common decency, common practice and common good) is staggering. It is not by mistake.
BTW, Lizzy, I loved your tot and pairs[sic] bouquet
EDIT: Oh my - pear. Wow.
Pro tip: If you kick them someplace a bit lower first, it will bring the teeth down to a more convenient height for kicking, when they double over.
Remembering what Grandma said about Texas, “They used to all joke that the US was tilted and all the loose nuts and bolts rolled into California…until ol’ Ronnie shifted the tilt and those loose nuts and bolts rolled into Texas!”
Stopped clocks. All that.
“I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family.”
Oh, I’m sure that part is intentional. Inside their disinformation bubble, mentioning race as a factor automatically means that you’re the “racist”. Because you’re the only one in the room who is using the “R” word, don’cha know.
Calling it infantile would be an unfair insult to infants.
Mixed bag. Government settled so that nobody can go snooping through their dirty underwear. Would rather have seen their folks put on the hot seat for a bit and made to spill the beans.
I was struck by her comment about the law’s concern with topics that were controversial. As far as I know, the Holocaust isn’t terribly controversial. Most people seem to think it was bad.
