House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) decision to launch an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
Did any reporter have the chutzpah to ask McCarthy, “Do you still believe that Putin owns Trump, like you said to Paul Ryan?”
You, Leader McCarthy, do not speak for anyone with brains or a love of democracy, so STFU.
“I realize 2016 did not turn out the way Speaker Pelosi wanted it to happen, but she cannot change the laws of this Congress. She cannot unilaterally decide we’re in an impeachment inquiry.”

I believe it is her preogative and duty as the speaker to do this, so what the hell are you talking about saying she doesn’t speak for America? Don’t believe she ever implied this.
Maybe someone should remind him the most recent national elections were in 2018, wherein Dems picked up 40+ seats to flip the House. And that was largely because the American people wanted a check on Trump.
