Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) have told reporters that they have canceled their appearance. Both Cornyn and Crenshaw denied that the shooting informed their cancelations.
So they’re both afraid to be seen going and afraid to go on record why. Paragons of Personal Responsibility!

So a troubled kid who had a history of getting into fights in school long before the pandemic, and was apparently trained in assault rifles at the range with a gun nut Uncle, was sent over the top into being a mass murderer because of masks in schools. Yeah 19 kids in school just decided to all up and die at the same time on the same day.
19 kids and 2 teachers would have been at school today, not forgetting those that are injured in getting a lovely stay at the hospital.

Gun death is far more likely in the US, especially if you are young. Instruments of superb lethality are readily available over-the-counter to 18 years olds with money. That’s not the problem, however. Yesterday we learned from an infinity of talking heads that the real problem is mental health. Wait, scratch that canned excuse. We learned that the real problem is… wait for it… drugs.

Maybe I’ve missed it, but it seems to me we finally have something in the news that the GOP is not trying to blame on Biden. I am sure there are right wing rags blaming Biden, but the main stream media is laying off Biden on this one IMO.

Perhaps he should be forced to either see a video of the crime scene or meet in person to listen to the experiences of the survivors and law enforcement officers who were on the scene.
