GOP Doctors’ Caucus Puts Out PSA Urging Constituents To Get COVID Vaccine

The Republican Doctors’ Caucus put out a PSA on Monday endorsing the COVID-19 vaccine amid higher rates of vaccine hesitancy among Republican-identifying Americans — especially the men — compared to the rest of the population.

Good Luck with that

The Republican Doktor Caucus is really missing the boat here on the more effective & more lucrative solution to the self-owning, self-voter-suppression tendencies of Republican men: offer a 20% discount on brain transplants.

I’m stunned they would think so normally/progressively/logically.

It’s not often I earnestly wish a Republican campaign the greatest success, but broken clocks etc.

My bet is they’re thinking they can’t afford to lose any older white voters.

When Republicans try to do something like this it is like the Joker stopped burning down Gotham for 5 minutes to talk about the importance of good nutrition. Thanks to FOX, Trump and a bunch of other bad actors America, which has more vaccine than it needs, will fail to reach population immunity. We will dick around until some new variant unaffected by the vaccine will begin racing through the population again. Weaponized ignorance will be our downfall.

For those who like podcasts, This American Life just had a really excellent show about COVID and vaccine hesitancy. I highly recommend it.

Perhaps the “good” doctors can get some of their billionaire supporters to pony up the money to give every retardlican man a viagra or cialis with their vaccine.

“I hope you’ll join me, along with over a hundred million Americans, in choosing to receive the vaccine so we can throw away our mask and live life as free as we did before,” the lawmakers say at the end of the video.

Good luck persuading anti-vaxxer, anti-masker morons who are already doing exactly as they please to “choose” to get vaccinated. The existence of this message proves its pointlessness.

Republican Doctors Caucus??? HUH??? What do they do?

Interesting. I don’t think I saw Rand Paul in that PSA. That means that either he doesn’t want constituents to be vaccinated, or he’s not a real doctor, or he doesn’t believe in the Hippocratic Oath he once took. Or all of the above.

Or, he’s a self-righteous asshole?

Ruh roh! This now-vulnerable caucus is in danger of being replaced by the PTLAPTS* lobby.
