I think most will just follow the rules and get their shots. Some will certainly buy fake vax cards, and they might just find themselves in jail as a result.

Somehow, killing off their base has become a valuable tactic for the GQP. While they secretly get themselves vaccinated (and watch, they’ll all be signing up for thirds), they tell their sheep-like followers to not even wear a face mask or socially distance.
And don’t get me started on the insane hypocrisy of “My body, MY CHOICE.”

Assaulting a flight attendant is a Federal crime, yet many seemingly gleefully seek out the opportunity to do it, for the most inconsequential provocation. I dare say anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers hardly view the threat of a felony conviction for their actions as a deterrent. They assault teachers, school board members, store clerks, random people on the street commenting on their lack of a mask in localities where it’s mandated by law, etc. Their anger and aggression are not constrained by laws.
And those producing fake vaccine cards are members of the same club, possessed of the same anger and aggression and disregard for the laws.

I don’t know whether the card is a “federal document.” Mine was issued by the pharmacy where I got the vaccine. This might require additional federal or state legislation.

Driver licenses are State documents, but if you use one to procure a passport it’s a Federal crime. Similarly, while a vaccine card may not be a Federal document, using one to circumvent a Federal law or Presidential Executive order may make it a Federal crime.

These GOP governors might as well try to sue the Pentagon over the vaccination mandate for their 3.2 million military personnel and employees. I doubt that it would have much traction.

COVID-19 Vaccination Record Cards bear the CDC logo. It makes no difference whether the cards were issued after the bearer was vaccinated at a hospital or other public clinic, or at a pharmacy. They are indeed official federal government documents.
