Candidates who’ve pushed lies about the 2020 election, and who’ve campaigned on various schemes to limit or subvert democracy, did quite well in Tuesday’s primary elections in several states around the country.
Where does it all end?
I can’t wait to see Kari Lake and Karrin Taylor-Robson tear each other apart with accusations of election fraud. Got my popcorn ready.

However, the right-wing Washington Times reported on July 28, that Speaker Nancy Pelosi invited other lawmakers to join her on her trip to Taiwan including the top-ranked Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Michael McCaul.
Their base loves it when they lie, the press reports on them because they lie. With no incentive to not lie… why would any of them not keep the lie going, even if they won? “And now that I won, I can see all the corruption in the system… here’s all the people we have to fire and all of my friends ill hire” no irony.
Republican party policy is now that only Republicans can win elections, anything else is fraud. We will see this all over in November. it’s amusing now watching them do tis to each other, but no one will remember or hold them accountable for what they say now. It’s damaging to our democracy to have this said at every election.
sigh I only knew Kari Lake from when she was one of the anchorpeople for local news. She did a good job reading the news, and was nice eye candy. Finding out she’s a raving nutjob in real life has been disappointing.

Lake retweeted the account of an anonymous supposed poll worker who claimed “10-15%” of ballots had been “smeared” as a result of the type of pens election officials were using.
I really hope her opponents sue her, using her words against her. And drag it out until November 8th.
Everyone in Arizona has a gilded polo mallet. She’s a lady of the people, not some elitist member of an exclusive club.
