GoFundMe Border Wall Spills Into Mexico

A private border wall construction project lauded by Trumpers nationwide is actually partially on Mexican soil, Mexican government engineers alleged in photos their American counterparts shared with the builders this month.

“The IBWC regularly handles issues of binational importance, most notably water that flows across the border, and the 130-year-old body could hold firm in its beef withthe GoFundMe wall builders, even if the group counts former White House adviser Steve Bannon as an adviser and former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach as general counsel.”

Well, the wall builders will certainly have no problem winning a legal challenge from Mexico.

“That’s a problem for the Mexican government, and for the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC), established in 1889 with one commissioner from each country. (The current U.S. commissioner is a Trump appointee.)”

Looks like IBWC might be getting a new commissioner from the U.S. if it doesn’t cave on this misappropriation of Mexican land.

We would’ve surveyed the site but Plumb Bob couldn’t get the lens cap off the transit.

Fun Fact: The US cannot dictate how Mexico uses explosives on its own territory. [hint, hint.]

I would heartily support Mexico taking back their sovereign soil with the full power of their military.

Kolfage doesn’t eat soup, as the proper operation of a can opener eludes him.

Two-hundred pound boulders? Those aren’t boulders; those are landscaping rocks, or a typo.

Good civics lesson for these people, not to mention an engineering lesson. Surely they had surveying done by a licensed surveyor, and the wall was designed by a licensed professional engineer. We are a nation of laws.

There’s no reason for these grifters to waste money on something legitimate like proper engineering. Having a rackety dispute with the Mexican authorities and maybe seeing that bit destroyed is far more griftily profitable and useful to their purposes.

Mexico will build the wall, even if we have to encroach on their territory and build if for them from their side with your money.
