Another day. Another trip on the bipolar express. Things will be fine. Nope. Things are hurtling towards chaos.

Currently hopeful that just a handful of GOP senators will “do the needful” and really, forcefully speak out against what is happening.

Among other things, the attorneys — Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis — asserted that hundreds of thousands of legitimate votes were in fact “illegal,” and that voting machines and software may have “trashed” Trump votes, “injected” Biden votes, and “flipped” votes between the two. The crew didn’t assert any specific case as much as a buffet of conspiratorial nonsense.

I’m really well-beyond the “had enough” stage. I’m tired of the obstruction and hearing the barking of these mad dogs. This old man is ready. Fuck the goddamn brown shirts. If it comes down to it, then unleash the fucking dogs and let the the goddamn shotgun sing its song. I’m not going to idly sit by and watch democracy die.

Yes just crazy old Rudy.

If Biden becomes President, and now I am beginning to suspect that the crazies might succeed so if is the key word here, he should ignore all this and just move on.

I’d wager that none of the speakers at that press conference believed a single claim they were spouting. But they know a good part of the uninformed GOP base will, and that is all that matters to them. Lying, corruption, and the undermining of our democracy as a deliberate political strategy. Disgusting.

I really do think Dems need to step up and shout down tyrant Trump and his band of propagandists. Trump is poisoning the well and priming the GOP pump to get behind a hostile takeover of elections. It won’t work for this election, but it is something they will use in the future.

We just need to point this new conference out as Republicans from the top work product. These are the fine folks with their “interesting” legal work product.

The failed state that is the Republican political party fights against allowing legal operations to proceed.

To do so would mean bringing back law and order.

25 45 at this point what else is there?

“Chris Krebs did a really good job — as state election officials all across the nation will tell you — and he obviously should not be fired,” Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) said.

It sure as hell ain’t obvious to the rest of the Senate R caucus, Ben–you know, the guys you vote with all the time.

Denial is not just a rivulet trickling down Rudy’s face.

We’ll soon be needing a number of Nuremberg-like, completely above board, fair and open trials once this is all over, followed by mass firing-squad or hanging executions of these dictatorial fascist traitors – if they’re found guilty of course. I’ve fucking had it with these anti-American curs.

The GOP owns this, and it appears that Trump owns the GOP.

Yeah, if only someone in the GOP had been warned, if only the Republican Senators had been warned, if only they had a position of responsibility where facts could be brought, if only there was a mechanism for dealing with an obviously inane, insane, criminal president.

Don’t hang by the neck, waiting.

The GOP is happy to own this, given that 73 million Americans voted for it.

“If only there were a body of some kind of “senatorial”-like body who could stand up to this mad president, we might be able to defend our country. But, alas, we’re helpless,” continued private-citizen-with-no-influence Sasse in a wistful tone…

I hope there’s a place for him in the Biden administration.

I suspect that even ACB might not accept a self-pardon or even Pence pardon if he tries to take this beyond frivolous lawsuits, sensationalist pressers and outlandish claims. Even she probably knows that allowing him to get away with this and giving him another four years would not just destroy our republic and lead to untold catastrophes, but it would all but certainly render her and the court little more than rubber stamps. She and they know their history. This NEVER ends well, if allowed to succeed.

Both Burr and Sasse can, to put it succinctly, Go. Fuck. Themselves.
