Kevin McCarthy is appointing Gym Jordan to the Intel Committee. The GOP is making its move ahead of the public hearings, it seems.
Now the questions whether or not Pelosi will allow it.

Well I grew up in Europe and I do think America is a great place but in some respects ( being polite ) there are better places. Eastern Europe is not what I’m talking about. And Russia really sucks.

Oh good! Gym’s smart, measured, and entirely fair in his public comments. Also, he’s tough. He was a wrestler, you know. Maybe he still is. Too bad he didn’t protect the students on the wrestling team at OSU from the doctor/molester when he was assistant coach.

I haven’t seen much reporting on Brady Toensing’s appointment to a senior post at DOJ. Brady is Victoria Toensing’s son.

Brady Toensing—whose mother Victoria Toensing and and step-father Joe diGenova are key players in the rapidly growing Ukraine scandal—joined the DOJ in June as a senior counsel in its Office of Legal Policy.
