Rudy Giuliani paid for recent international travel “with cash,” Georgia prosecutors said as part of an argument to prevent the Trump consigliere from wiggling out of testimony this week.
Poor Rudy.

Maybe Rudy thought that by paying cash his movements couldn’t be traced.

But seriously, how sad is it – the man that broke the New York Mafia, mayor of New York, is now the SUBJECT of a grand jury investigation. Not to mention grifting off his connections to pay off ex-wife #3 (who really needs to downsize, IMHO).
Rudy, Rudy, Rudy - you can fly across the Atlantic but not down to Georgia? Give me strength.
Stick him on Amtrak. Better yet, Bolt Bus. Of course, he’ll need a minder to make sure he doesn’t get lost on the way.
Think how much money an overseas flight costs, and that in order to pay cash you’d have to buy the ticket in person, at the airport or at a travel agency. So then Rudy is walking around with huge wads of cash all the time.
I’m not saying anything we don’t already know here, but either he’s lying, or he knew his travel was suspect from the get-go.
The Bolt Bus is a splendid plan.

"Prosecutors with Fulton County DA Fani Willis’s office made the statement while trying to push back against an argument from Giuliani that, due to an unspecified recent medical procedure, he would be unable to fly to Atlanta for testimony before the grand jury.
“We will provide alternate transportation including bus or train if your client maintains that he is unable to fly,” wrote Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten in an email to Giuliani attorney Robert Costello".
Rudy could have walked the straight and narrow and done the circuit as “America’s Mayor” and made a small fortune.
Instead he chose to throw in with the same people he used to have thrown in prison and now look at him.
Rudy really is bad at all this.
Nobody these days pays cash for airline tickets unless they’re trying to hide the trip. The question is was it strictly for pleasure and he wanted to hide his European adventure from the DA in Atlanta or did he have business dealings scheduled with various criminals and foreign agents?
Wouldn’t surprise me if he surreptitiously paid cash for the ticket, then demanded mileage credit for his frequent flyer number.
I see a “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” remake with Rudy and Sascha. It will be lit.
He’s just going through the motions now.

It’s not clear why Giuliani purportedly chose to pay in cash for the flights.
I guess he doesn’t need the mileage or the points.
He may not have Georgia on his mind…but Georgia sure has Rudy on its mind. And what Georgia wants, Georgia’s going to get.
