Rudy Giuliani was ordered on Wednesday to testify before a Fulton County special grand jury next month in its investigation into former President Trump’s efforts to overturn the election results in Georgia.
“That was scheduled for today? Oops.”

The legislation, which comes after months of negotiations, would attempt to more clearly define the role of states, presidential electors and the vice president in a presidential election in an effort to prevent the events of Jan. 6, 2021 in the future.

That’s somewhat of a bummer in that being called before a grand jury typically means you are a not a target.

This is a GA special grand jury. All 16 of the GA alternafraud electors were subpoeanaed as witnesses. Then yesterday they were informed that they had been promoted to “targets”.
This is pretty stupid. I imagine it’s going to be 5th 5th 5th, just like Flynn. Although he may find time to add 9/11, 9/11, 9/11.
Not showing up was the most cost effective approach to what’s a near automatic judge ruling.

It’s going to be awkward (for Giuliani) if the grand jury wants to question him about the video he falsely claimed showed two election workers committing various crimes.
One America News has already settled with those workers (for a lot of money, I hope), but their case against Giuliani is still pending in the DC District Court.

Another example of Dems unilaterally disarming themselves - the GQP will ignore any new law, Dems will follow it. Only reason the GQP wants it is so Harris can’t declare Biden the winner when GQP state legislators return electors contrary to the election results in 2024.
