No such luck.
He did say a couple days ago that he had “evidence in his bags”. Hopefully his bags got lost. But I expect that as usual just saying it absent actual evidence is the whole point.

Classic Rudy. His role is to obfuscate and confuse, to muddy the waters, to blast out the squid ink, to be like the radar-confusing bits of metal called “chaff” dumped out by airplanes, rockets and so forth. He loudly declares there are no rules in a Senate impeachment trial, then alludes to an imaginary rule that a statutory crime must have been committed. Rinse and repeat all fuckin’ day.
I’ve heard him called “dangerous” here, which I’d qualify. It’s pernicious, certainly, to fill the public discourse with ridiculous contradictory assertions generally suggesting that an infallible autocratic presidency is a possible or desirable thing. But really I don’t think he’s cleverer or more planful than he seems. In social-role terms he’s the fast-talking little streetwise rat-faced not overbright git standing sweating on a sidewalk with two big cops glaring down at him, fingering the cuffs and not believing a word of it because they listen to this crap for a living. That’s all “America’s Mayor” ever was.

Gee Rudy, thanks for helping the Dems make the case that the Ukraine scheme was a political hit job, and not just about “corruption” in Ukraine. I wonder how the WH lawyers feel about Rudy running his mouth in that particular direction.

I believe the technical term for this is yadda-yadda-ing. As in “The Secretary of Defense just yadda-yaddaed the question of whether evidence to justify a potentially catastrophic military action even exists.” He just shrugs—sure, maybe, I dunno. The Secretary of Defense. That’s just fucking dandy.
