Roberts does not have the job of “policing” the court or the justices. The only power he has as CJ is assigning opinions when he is in the majority. If he’s not in the majority he doesn’t even get to do that. The justices are all equal.

What makes Thomas so significant is that he shows that this line between Trump and pre-Trump Bush-Cheney conservatism may be impossible to draw.

In a couple of weeks we will be incredulous about why nothing is being done and how Clarence could possibly remain ion the Court…the level of corruption and our obvious inability to effectively deal with it is one of the great revelations of our times.

Am reading The Lady in the Tower The Fall of Anne Boleyn.
Talk about lying to put her in the Tower then off with her head.
The fact that they have so much information from 500 years ago about who said what is really extraordinary even though there is a lot of we will never know.
Anyway, hung out to dry by the powers that lied to benefit themselves and take down more than just Boleyn.
Apparently Britain’s powerful were a lot about lying before anyone knew what America was much less the Rethugs.
