Ginni Thomas Admits She Attended Jan. 6 Rally

Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, admitted that she attended the Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” rally that preceded the deadly Capitol insurrection — but only until she “got cold and left early,” Thomas told the Washington Free Beacon in a report published Monday.

to discuss and debate rationally in the political square

The political square doesn’t omit the public.

Elections aren’t competition between two parties to see who can lie about their plans, and then remake the government to perpetuate their power.

Wrong country, Ginni.

Looks like and sounds like the Nixonian “limited hang out” strategy to cover her fat ass, trying to get ahead of the story. WTF was she doing there? Selling lemonade??

In the interview, Thomas argued that her attendance at the rally has “no bearing” on her husband’s work.

“We do not discuss cases until opinions are public—and even then, our discussions have always been very general and limited to public information.”

Bullshit.
A SC justice with any integrity would resign, but clarence …

“there was violence that happened.” Ah, the expletive construction, the resort of villains hypocrites and liars everywhere. “I am frustrated and disappointed that violence existed.” Stripped completely of where, who, what, how, or why. It practically shouts “I have something to hide.”

“If you are going to be true to yourself and your professional calling, you can never be intimidated, chilled, or censored by what the press or others say,” Thomas told the Beacon.

But, apparently, you can get cold and go home after you see that what’s coming is as expected and you need some (im)plausible deniability. *&^%$#

It sounds to me like she’s trying to get out in front of something. Why do this interview now? And I might find her protestations more convincing if this wasn’t true, as I posted on another thread.

Yes…unless it gets too cold. Because then you need to get out of the insurrection and let your comrades take the fall.

Ironic she literally used the word “chilled”, then got too cold to stay.

Ginni Thomas lies the way most people breathe.

If she caught herself being truthful, she’d start lying just to keep her hand in.

She’d rather climb a tree to lie to you than just stand in front of you and tell the truth.

Nothing will happen to her - she is more protected than TFG.

It’s nice that she admits she did this, but it means absolutely nothing further than that. We need to stop looking for this to being a tipping point. It won’t be. Ever.
