Yup, exactly right. If an otherwise privileged attorney-client communication is shared with a third party, the privilege is waived. The only circumstance under which Fruman could credibly make this argument is if he had a joint defense agreement with Parnas. I don’t think anyone has said that such an agreement exists.
This is the kind of bullshit that gets lawyers disciplined or sued for malpractice.
Do you think it likely Fruman has a JDA with Manafort (and thus possibly with certain white house denizens)? They share the same attorney.
