A day after Christmas, “Fox and Friends” went after the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for editing President Trump out of its airings of “Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.”
conservative pundit Mark Steyn argued that the CBC is “terrified” that people will remember how Trump was a “beloved mainstream cultural figure” before he was “the new Hitler.”
CBC understood that including Trump in the film would create problems throughout north america, as families who had resolved to eschew politics were triggered by the disturbing intrusion of Trump into their own homes on Christmas day.
“Fox & Friends” co-host Katie Pavlich then chimed in that she considers the move by CBC to edit out Trump to be “censorship.”
I guess historians are also exercising censorship when they fail to note Trump’s inauguration crowd was the largest in the history of the nation, right Katie?
Is there any wonder why Fox is not on Canadian television?
One Americans “beloved mainstream cultural figure” is another’s racist grifter “worst business person in the world”.
Culkin’s character asks him for directions to The Plaza Hotel’s main lobby.
I thought Culkin asked him for directions to the bathroom, which would make a lot more sense given that running into Cockholster tends to inspire involuntary projectile evacuations … from both ends.
“That’s who Donald Trump was before he was the new Hitler,” Steyn said. “I think they’re terrified of these little things that will remind people just how deranged his opponents are he’s become.”
