‘Fox & Friends’ Rips Into CBC | Talking Points Memo

Yay, CBC, for improving the movie. FnF can stick their censorship whining into the vast black hole where they buried their souls long ago. Such snowflakes. The last thing I want this holiday season is more Donald “Impeached” Dump.

Did they have to play the movie at all? They could have done the Mr. Magoo version of A Christmas Carol instead.

The real shame is we won’t be able to edit him out of the history books.

What use is it of being a super power if you can’t be mean to Canadians?

There’s a reason for editing Trump out.
When Reagan was president none of the networks would run his movies or TV programs during the entire two terms. No Bonzo, Hellcats of the navy, Death Valley days etc. The networks viewed them rightfully as giving him free advertising and possibly an emoluments violation.

And repetitive, which sometimes goes along with boring, but I was compelled to make the same point.

Dear Fox Dumbasses:

I’m going to explain this to you, and no need to thank me because this is real simple. It isn’t “censorship.” It’s editing out the lamest scene in a lame movie that is very close to the opposite of “one of the biggest” Christmas flicks. Trump used to insist on cameos if you shot in one of “his” insanely leveraged properties. And nobody is terrified that Canadians will suddenly all remember how much they loved him once. That’s just lunacy. They edited the bit out because—[lowers voice]—listen to me now—they don’t like him. Like, at all. Most people here don’t either. Word of honor.

So. Glad we could have this little talk.

I want to know what was the commercial that ran in the time made available by the edit.

No idea. Holiday special on coffee and doughnuts at Tim Horton’s, maybe.

she considers the move by CBC to edit out Trump to be “censorship.”

I think the CBC was simply following US Federal law by studiously avoiding any inference that they contributed a thing of value to a political campaign.

That’s who Donald Trump was before he was the new Hitler,” Steyn said. “I think they’re terrified of these little things that will remind people just how deranged his opponents are.”

You caught that, too. Thank you! I hated the scene when I saw the movie in the theater, long before all this happened. Last year my daughter watched Home Alone 2 with my in-laws and my father-in-law loved pointing out to her the President was in the movie. I’m sure you can guess who’s he’s a big fan of.

CBC edited out a sexual predator from a Xmas movie while he is awaiting a trial. Sounds like the right thing to do to me.

My wife was recently on an international cruise, and talked to more than a few global citizens. The prevailing view (*) was they are boycotting the USA until we get rid of that disgusting and horrible President. Perhaps some of the incentive for CBC to delete that “beloved” scene?

(*) not a scientific survey

I don’t understand what’s wrong with these people. Half the time they’re insisting that Trump’s incredibly popular. The rest of the time they say Trump used to be popular until he became a conservative and now it’s cool to hate him because conservatives are so unpopular.

And in reality, none of this matters anyway because nobody actually likes Trump. That’s why his supporters attack anyone who talks about him while Fox News continues their decades-long obsession with far-lefties because nobody actually likes Republicans or their terrible policies; they just hate liberals. Once Trump’s out of office, they’ll forget any of this happened, just like they did with Bush.

They edited it out? That does it. I’ll never watch that movie again. Oh,wait. I’ve never seen it at all. It looked like a colossal waste of time. The fact that it had a cameo from a guy who was such a waste of carbon that he actually thought it would be good for his image to appear in a movie reboot, despite the fact that he was, even at that time, considered to be the creepiest human being in NYC, shows that he was delusional then just as he is now.
By the way: lots of people are saying that they edited it out because someone noticed that Trump’s fly was open the whole time. I guess we’ll never know since it’s been edited out.
