The current mortality rate nationwide is 2.2%, 20 times more deadly than seasonal flu. I shudder to imagine what the rate in Florida will be after all this dithering.

Republicans, including Trump, chose the economy and their election prospects over the lives of Americans. Don’t forget that, and don’t let them try to wriggle out of that. Florida was one of the worst offenders, all of the people hitting the beaches for Spring Break and then going home means infections across the nation, and an impossibility for tracing them in any reasonable way. Thousands of Americans will die due to the inaction of these governors…the propaganda spewed to try to blame that on Democrats is going to be epic this fall, and sickening.
