Considering the way that people in places like The Villages have been actively ignoring the “Democrat hoax” of the virus, it’s very likely there are so many people carrying the virus that a massive wave is going to hit them. Judge Jenkins has pressured the everloving fuck out of Abbott who still won’t issue a state wide stay at home order. He did bow to Clay’s pressure enough to extend the emergency and keep the schools closed until the end of April.
Our county judge is running the state response because Abbott won’t.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will issue a stay-at-home order on Wednesday
…and all it took was the screaming hypocrisy of refusing to dock a cruise ship with a few sick passengers at Port Everglades, which regularly does 3.8 million cruise passengers a year. This after DeSantis refused to close the beaches during spring break, sending 100s of thousands of young and dumb vectors back to their lucky communities throughout the USA.

“I think that’s an admission that perhaps the president and the majority leader cannot handle the job,” Pelosi responded. “We have a life-and-death situation in our country, and they should not try to hide behind an excuse for why they did not take action.
