Changing stations ought to be in both restrooms, but often are not.
Adding more gender neutral bathrooms with separate doors to public facilities would help a number of groups-parents with kids who are too young to wait alone outside while the parent uses the bathroom, disabled folks with a caregiver of the opposite gender. When my kids were little, my spouse reported that some men are very hostile towards kids -even boys- in their bathrooms/changing rooms.

I remember as a kid my Mother bringing me along with her and my sister’s Brownie Troop to “Holliday on Ice” at a big stadium on Brownie Day. It was my job to find and clear a men’s room as the women’s bathrooms were jam packed, so that their Brownie Troop would be able to use a bathroom during intermission and not miss the second half of the show. Where do I turn myself in??

This Governor in OK, Stitt, wants to take off a cartoon that PBS runs because it had a LBGT character depicted. He thinks that is “sexualizing” the children. These idiots really think that if they hide anything to do with sex or gender, their little darlings will never discover their own bodies. A fact well disproven by the higher rate of teen pregnancies where fundamentalists have removed sex education from schools…and god knows they are not going to learn anything healthy about sex in their uptight, uninformed homes.
