I know Calvin Coolidge, Calvin Coolidge is a friend of mine. Of course I’m talking about a great great grand nephew whose family moved to upstate NY because they wee the black sheep. Cal and his wife Pat have a farm and among other things they raised alpacas which is how we met and they have a small maple syrup operation which makes absolutely the BEST I’ve ever had even as a born and bred New Englander.

We are in deep shit. This is gonna be with us until we have a decent vaccine. That means 1-2 years of isolation or distancing. Keeping away from each other is the only defense we have. To not do it is suicide. But that same suicide infects others who did not want to die. The percent of our population that is carrying this virus is far higher than what is revealed by our limited ability to test. I expect 70% infection by late summer. And a LOT of death. a 2% fatality would mean around 6 million. I hope to God that is wrong.
