Five Points On The Murky Right-Wing Groups Fueling Anti-Public Health Protests | Talking Points Memo

I’m guessing his is another mind poisoned by the philosophical pornography of Ayn Rand.

If they all just want to get back to work, why no protests about lack of tests? What the world needs now is tests sweet tests. There is such a disconnect between what they want and what needs to happen to get what they want.

LMAO-- the letter was signed by March For Life and Susan B. Anthony List.

I mean we all know that “pro life” Republicans are hypocrites, but arguably they balance out various parts of their coalition.

But the fact that these 100% “sanctity of life” anti-abortion groups are getting involved trying to advocate individual freedom to make decisions when the government is trying to protect some of the weakest in our society, is the 2020 Chutzpah of the Year winner!

If there was any doubt all these “specialist” right-wing groups were nothing more than generalist grifters that always come down on the side of business Darwinism, I think that letter makes it clear to anyone other than the rubes they’ve hoodwinked.

These noisy/rich “leaders” of the Movement are all old enough to get sick and die. If they aren’t doing that, what are their Self-distancing Measures?? Some enterprising reporter needs to discover how they are secreting themselves and family members. Loud public exposure results, based on inevitable hypocrisy.

These so-called protestors are a minority.

The MSM and cable news should report in detail how much of of minority these wack jobs are.
They ,at times, get more coverage then what is really going on.

McConnell is now saying States should either declare bankruptcy, or seize State pension funds to pay their debts, because as far as he’s concerned the Federal spigot is now off.

I don’t think he realizes how stupid he looks. I hope his obit carries this photo.

You have got to understand how important this is to them. Either we get the economy re-opened, and fast with a V shaped recovery, or Trump goes down in a historic sweep in which they (R’s) also lose the Senate. The fact that re-opening too soon will likely make things worse in November is a risk they are willing to take - as it is the only hand left to play.

In his mind, he is Sgt. York, taking on the Hun’s machine gun nests. In reality, he looks like a bad extra in a Ron Jeremy movie.

They have also done the calculus the voting sectors most damaged by the pandemic, either by virtue of death or the obstacles it will cause in conducting a fair election, are chiefly Democratic constituencies. Minorities, Blue State urban centers, the disabled. No doubt people in the RNC feel even at its worst the pandemic is somehow a net positive come election day.

My Senator, Club for Growth Toomey will probably back Mitch.

You’re absolutely right.

Hmm, this will go over well.

McConnell seems to be destroying the country one obstinate moment after another.

Reporters, ASK HIM WHY? And Keep asking. Could it be Mitch hates America?

After the States seize their pension funds the Feds will get around to trimming Social Security to the bone. Eventually every adult drawing a breath and still somewhat sentient will have to work until they drop dead.

Vlad Putin giggles in delight. When did the GOP decide it would be good to be the unAmerican party? Worse, the anti-American party.
