“The only reason I made the call was because Rick asked me to. Something about an LNG [liquefied natural gas] plant.”

So the corruption that Trump was thinking about initially was Rick Perry, he wanted president Z to investigate Rick Perry?

“Politico reported that Perry called on Ukrainian officials to expand its three-person supervisory board to include Americans…”

Perry: “It’s three Americans I want on Naftogaz: Michael Bleyzer, Robert Bensh, and um, what’s the third one there? Let’s see: Michael Bleyzer, Robert Bensh, and um… The third one? Uh, let’s see, it’s… Can’t. Sorry. Oops!”

Like a nasty little lying 5-year-old. “He did it! I didn’t do it! Yell at him!” Absolutely zero understanding of responsibility as a concept.

The AP story if I remember correctly said something about directing these deals to Trump controlled entities. That should be the story. I’m stuck at a stoplight right now otherwise I’d look it up

This article should have had six numbered sections, and number three should have read “…oops”

“…something about an LNG plant”

Trump cannot be so dumb that he was not aware of the corrupt wheeling-dealing going on around him. Or maybe he just thinks it normal for his personal lawyer to be lobbying foreign governments while collecting fees from Trump insiders who will benefit enormously from the lobbying.

Why is Naftogaz’s board so popular?

I am going to be so happy if Perry gets nailed for his “work” in Ukraine. He got away with innumerable slimy deals in Texas and I guess he figured this was the way to do it on the international level.

I guess it’s a good thing Rick Perry couldn’t remember “Energy” as the third federal government department he wanted to eliminate. If someone had taken him up on that, he wouldn’t have his job, wouldn’t have been able to steer this opportunity to friends of his and Trump, wouldn’t be able to somehow turn a profit from it, and wouldn’t be involved in this growing scandal.

Oops!

No. Trump wanted to make sure he got his CUT of the LNG Deal.

Remember, only about 11 min. of a 30+ min. phone call has been disclosed by the WH, and that was edited by the WH to be as innocuous as possible, the rest was either missing completely or redacted.

Now we have a good idea what was in that other 20 min. of the call. Trump putting the squeeze on Ukraine for his CUT of an LNG Deal.

EVERYTHING Trump does is purely transactional. If there is nothing in it for him, he won’t do it.

Oh, I agree, Perry is small potatoes, but I want to see him go down because of what he did to higher education in Texas

Oh yeah, if tRump is going down, he’s going to make sure he takes everyone possible with him. All his enablers will regret the day they ever came into his orbit.
