“Back in February, a group of Canadian truckers reached the crescendo of their protest by blocking key transport nodes along the U.S.-Canada border.”

Which was created and funded by people involved with Ziklag…top donors via GiveSendGo (or whatever it’s called) etc. TPM should really start digging into that shit, because the Zombie Fourth Estate is going to avoid it like the plague and is already knee-deep in it with them because of who fucking owns them. We are seeing wide-ranging and organized religious holy war bullshit from the oligarchy in terms of fucking with international trade, price gouging and deliberate efforts to hurt the country and its people as a way of punishing us for voting Biden and Dems into power. It is going to get worse. It is going to get more frequent. It is going to get more elaborate. It is going to get more damaging. It is going to get more widespread.

This is end game not just for the GQP and white supremacist Christian dominionists, but also for numerous other industries that have operated as the base and source of power for decades and who now perceive an existential threat to themselves connected to the GQP facing its own existential threats. The know and fear that if the GQP goes down in demographic flames, play time is going to be over. The reality is an unholy alliance between the evangelical white supremacists and the industries and corporations they are promising primacy in exchange for assistance.

My only solace is that all these mothereffers are going to die ugly squalid deaths just like the rest of us because of their greed, ignorance, greed, stupidity, and self loathing hatred.

Solace of tears I guess.

So Hot Wheels is at it again. He called for a emergency session of the legislature to address election security problems he said didn’t exist; signed a law putting bounties on the heads of people trying to get an abortion, performing abortions and helping someone getting an abortion. He ordered state agencies to violate HIPPA laws to persecute parents of trans kids. I guess the National Guard on the Border failed, so now he’s pulling State Troopers off the road to man his latest political stunt.

This dumbass could have spent this time energy fixing the power grid, but I guess a $1M donation from the CEO of a company that made $2B off predatory pricing of Natural Gas when the grid nearly collapsed and people frozen to death, was enough to keep him from fixing that Republican wet dream called deregulated energy. Two major failures in ten years during cold weather and Texas Republicans are still to stupid, corrupt and stubborn to admit that there are regulations in place to protect consumers from exactly what’s happened in Texas.

Hot Wheels has made scapegoats of everyone not White Republicans, and it’s Mexico and Mexicans turn. I get that he’s up for re-election, but damn, he could at least waste taxpayer money on the right stuff, instead of using state money to prove he’s tough on culture war targets.

Will Texas voters reelect this monster?

This guy, Desatan, and all these other chaos actors seem to be unstoppable. We’re allowing them to act with impunity. This a political stunt, though one with severe - intended - consequences for the rest of the country. We can’t just sit back and let them do this shit. Sue the state and hope a judge sided with the US gov? Declare war on Texas? I give up.

The ones who are allowed to vote will.

The others, if they even care, will have to fight tooth and nail to dislodge him. I am tired of so many who are non-insane and who think beyond the cerebellum having to be backed into a corner before they start the fisticuffs. Civil War II will begin WITHIN states, as the parts who are not untethered to reality revolt when they finally wake up and realize what they’ve lost. Unfortunately, the necessary brutality will then be reciprocated.

I have the feeling that Democrats will be wiped out in the next two election cycles never to recover. And frankly they deserve it, Joe Biden has proven that he doesn’t have what it takes to govern this country. He has allowed wannabe dictators like Abbot and DiSantis to completely set the news cycle constantly defying him and sabotage him without repercussions other than a few lame words from Jen Psaky.

There was the 1/6 incident and all the corruption of the Trump regime (Jared’s shenanigans are order of magnitude worse than Hunter’s, but most Americans don’t know about them) to keep bringing a stream of indictments against prominent republicans flowing and keeping them in the back foot. But, he allowed Garland to drag his feet, and after Republicans recover Congress all those crooks will get away with attempted coup, and the new GOP House majority committees, featuring MGT and Jim Jordan will them how to proper conduct an investigation. We will learn how many times Hunter farted in Ukraine.

Couldn’t the president at very least get off his ass and call a press conference and forcefully denounce him? Not even a tweet insulting him?

Is this not against the law against running your own foreign policy among other things? Supremacy clause violation. 4th amendment violations, etc?

So…

  • How many illegal drugs has the Abbott Process seized?
  • How many illegal aliens has the Texas inspection caught?
  • How many human-trafficked individuals have been found?
  • How many cases of COVID-19 have been detected?

In short, has this massive disruption of INTERNATIONAL TRADE, the province of the US Federal government (and Mexico’s) actually found any of the alleged “atrocities” it’s supposed to detect?

No? Well, I’m not surprised. If every Democratic candidate in Tejas isn’t using footage of the blockages and spoiled cargo for their campaign ads, shame on them.

Abbot and DiSantis are no fools, they are doing this because it allows them to score points, weaken Biden standing, without suffering a single negative repercussion.

Keep in mind Abbot and DiSantis could not care less what you and me or the whole states of CA, NY and MA think of them, the people they care about like what they are doing, sticking it to the libs. And due to our kludgy democratic system those are enough to take the presidency and solid majorities in Congress, none of this guys are going to let America vote them out like idiot Trump did.

Considering the fact that the Ag Commissioner in Texas came out and blamed this on Abbot and said it was absurd might make it hard for him to convince the people of Texas that $5 avocados are the fault of Biden. I think that was probably the plan, but Abbot is stupid.

To a great extent this is true, but the problem for both of them, especially Abbot, is that a lot of people in their own states are pushing back. And not all of them are Democrats.

Did you hear what the Ag Commissioner Miller said? He went after Abbot and I am pretty sure he is a Republican. This is just stupid. It will hurt a lot of businesses right there in Texas.

Abbot is not stupid. He knows that the people of Texas will believe the price of avocados is Biden fault if Fox News tell them so. Yes, I know that not all Texans are gullible idiots, but the ones that aren’t, were not going to vote for him anyways so he doesn’t care what they think.

Yup, as @grack said, shooting themselves in the d**k.

Which happens to be a popular with conservative gun nuts and GOP Governors.

Allowed? Are you under the impression that Biden is King? I don’t think either party will be damaged enough to never recover. And you don’t know what Garland is going to do. People did not even know he called grand juries on Trumpworld.

Get a grip.
