Manhattan federal prosecutors added a foreign agent conspiracy charge to the counts Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) is facing, per a superseding indictment released on Thursday.
We gotta start sending better people to do our bidding in DC.
The Golden Duke Awards have a lot of strong contenders this year.
Perhaps Menendez and Santos could share an office for the remainder of their hopefully short time in Congress. Save taxpayers some money and reporters some shoe leather.

One wonders how many other members of Congress are on the payrolls of foreign governments. It would explain a lot if we were to discover that certain Republicans are taking money from the Russians to oppose aid for Ukraine.

Menendez needs to resign ASAP* and take his lumps away from the US Senate. He is a corrupt POS.
*He should have resigned weeks ago, if not years ago.

I really feel sorry for his daughter Alicia and his congressman son. That boost of having an important father is completely gone.
When the U.S. Senate was referred to as “the world’s most deliberative body” I don’t think they meant “deliberative” in this way. Just sayin’!

Does it seem like Washington is suddenly realizing after events in Israel that running government as a freak show is maybe not a good look?
Even Chuck now says he is “troubled” by the new allegations.
Manafort and Flynn come to mind as criminals convicted of similar crimes…they skated with the aid of their beloved henchman Donny…hopefully the Senator will get what’s coming to him and verify that white collar criminals don’t ALWAYS get away with mind numbing crimes.
So when is he announcing that he’s running for President and is therefore immune from prosecution?
He should resign immediately, if not sooner.
Their unscrupulous self-absorbed father is now an albatross around their political necks… and quite possibly, now the greatest political liability they have - or ever will - face.

My only question at this point is whether he and Trump end up in the same federal penitentiary or not and who dies in prison first.
