“The Justice Department is considering filing criminal charges against former National Security Adviser John Bolton over his soon-to-be-released White House tell-all,”

Sure they are. Trump is in a rage and putting the screws to Barr demanding they take care of Bolton. I guess the threat to sue Bolton didn’t do the trick? What a crock of shit.

The government should not be allowed to block “embarrassing” information. That is complete horse hockey.

Bolton better be careful passing open windows.

That is the right, thing to do throw the traitor in jail and prevent him for making any money, I don’t care what BS legal argument they use. The book will probably leak anyway, but Judas Bolton should not be allowed to collect his 30 silver pieces.

“The report suggests the Justice Department may be willing to go to the mat in support of the idea that the government has broad discretion to prevent damaging or embarrassing information from going to press.”

Up next, hotel balconies and their unseen dangers?

Let’s wait till after the damage is done to try and do something…oh the downfall of being a reactionary.

At least Mary doesn’t have to worry about getting her book out before they try to do anything to stop it.

It seems like the train has already left the station, i.e. the book is already out there, so this reeks of desperation. If they want to bring criminal charges, wouldn’t they have to cite that which is “classified?”

I failed to add: he really needs to be careful if he is russian.

So, they’re not denying the accuracy of the book, I guess?

Horse is out of the barn. I expect a full reading on CNN and MSNBC.

Seriously? So it is a crime to print embarrassing information about a sitting President? Tell that to Bill Clinton.

Their own goddamn filing said the reviewer had concluded in April there was nothing classified in the damn book. This is kabuki, but it’s also incredibly toxic and damaging in a liberal democracy. Just appalling. And also desperate, depending on which end you pick up.

Welp…there’s always the Superman technique.

Trump flies high enough to achieve orbit-level altitude over earth and then flies in an opposite direction of the earth’s rotation. It’s been done, twice, I understand.**

Time goes backward and nobody knows nothin’…

The Justice Department is considering shooting itself in the foot in an effort to knock Bolton on the head with the butt of its gun.

The book is on the desks of numerous reporters. Stories are already out. Trumpworld may try as hard as it wants to unshit this bed by setting it on fire. Good luck with that.

The train has left the station.

If they charge Bolton I don’t give a shit. He deserves something for dodging the House investigation.

Trump has had a really, really bad week. And damn if it isn’t only just Wednesday again. In this week’s serial, our hero Lord Trump is against the wall, at the brink of the cliff and the time bomb is down to seconds. Stay tuned…

I think the next step in the plan is to make it a federal crime to read Bolton’s book.
