I hadn’t been expecting that what Chump was most scared about in the Schmeppsteen files wasn’t his own sex abuses. It could very well be (additionally) about all the after-exchanges that showed his mentions in the trials and legal manuevers/investigations after Schmeppsteen got in trouble…and possibly having him murdered when Schmeppsteen got re-arrested.
What he and Schmeppsteen did together in some earlier timeframe is one whole episode…but every way in which Chump was involved/informed after the first Schmeppsteen arrest would confirm his complicity and full knowledge of what was going down and for what acts. No way for him to claim distance or ‘he didn’t know’. Chump has spent close to 15 yrs trying to rewrite everything as ‘I barely knew him’.

We are fools to think Schmeppsteen or anthing else is going to ‘break’ Chump voters and send rafts of them floating over to our side. 95% of them are DYING for some way to make it work, forgive him, or find a way out of the mess. Take the hit and try to build back.

A good point. Three of my grandparents arrived from Ireland post-Civil War, the latest in the 1890s. The fourth was a first-generation American. According to JD Vance, that makes Jefferson Davis and John Calhoun more American than I am.

I have to think that anyone who is exposed to, or working with the Russians soon realizes that being KILLED by them is a real possibility. I am pretty sure Chump has been hallucinating their assassins everywhere in his waking life for at least 2 decades. No reason to think Schmeppsteen was blissfully unaware of that either.

“average” is a measure of central tendency.
What single number is representative of the group?
There are three covered in every stats book:
Mean – weighted average
Median – middle score
Mode – most frequent score
Want to lie with statistics? Pick your “average”.
The median is democratic – everybody counts the same.
The mean is fascist – the one with the gold makes the rules.
The example I give my classes centers on Bill Gates (I’m old) walking in to the room.
The median income shifts from you (pointing) to you (pointing to someone else).
It just went up, but only a little.
On the other hand, the mean income just made us all millionaires.
Anybody feel like a millionaire?
Nothing inherently wrong with either measure.
The point of “education” is both understanding what each means* AND why your interlocutor chose one rather than the other.
