The only way he can control the Epstein scandal is to stop the release of the files which he did by demanding an investigation of Clinton, Reid Hoffman, etc But in doing so,he’s made it worse for himself.

To me, and my theory, what is even more revealing is what is in Epstein’s later emails before he died. Seems he might have been trying to blackmail Trump after he became president. I think we now see a motive Trump would have had to have Epstein killed. Ghislaine is being treated well now with the understanding she can easily be eliminated if she starts being truthful about what really went on.

But has Trump “stopped the release”?
- The vote in the House won’t come until sometime next week, longer if Big Mike decides Representatives need more vay-cay prior to their Thanksgiving vay-cay,
- AND if the Senate even decides to take up the bill, assuming Big Mike’s Republicans turned traitor and allowed it to pass,
- AND the Senators do likewise,
- AND it gets to the fake “Resolute Desk” replica that Klepto Don sits at
- AND he has the opportunity to sign – or more likely veto – it.
Lots of additional opportunities to keep engineering fake “crises” to try and sweep his sex criming under the gilded rug.
Oh, and Democrats rarely hesitate to turn on their own. They’ve already been Bill Clinton haters since the mid 1990s, never liked Larry Summers much, and assuming Dems will block the Epstain (heh!) release to “protect their own” is a Republican projection.

Do you think any of the true MAGATS will ever realize that “only Democrats are implicated in the Epstein files” and “the Epstein files are a Democrat hoax” are not compatible statements?
Trump lies like a 4 year old and when he gets caught short on his lies he calls the questioner “nasty” and “fake news”. The fact that we are in thrall to what this lying toddler screeches on a daily basis is having a toll on all of us. The whole country is becoming progressively stupider because we are all arguing with a 4 year old.
